You've earned the pause.
Integrative therapy and holistic care that works the way your nervous system actually does.
Sure, you're functioning.
But, you're also running
on empty.
Sound familiar?
This work is for high-achieving women who carry everything well and have quietly lost themselves in the process.
Because you deserve to show up for yourself just like you do for everyone else.
Because you’re ready to find rest that actually restores you.
Because somewhere along the way, "just get through it" became your default setting—but you know there is a better way.
The Body Holds the Story
Healing doesn't happen only in the mind. We work somatically — tuning into physical sensations to find what thoughts alone can't reach.
Here, All Parts Are Welcome
Drawing on parts work, I work with the whole of you — including the parts that feel ashamed, stuck, or guarded. Nothing gets left at the door.
Tools That Travel With You
Sessions build toward real change in daily life — strategies, practices, and steadiness you can carry beyond our time together.

Therapy for Washington state. Wellness for anywhere.
I offer individual therapy to clients located in Washington state, and meditation, mindfulness, and wellness offerings to anyone, anywhere. They're two distinct paths — one clinical and deeply personal, the other communal and practice-based — and you're welcome to explore either, or both.
-
Therapy is a clinical, ongoing relationship — I'm your licensed therapist, we meet weekly, and the work is confidential and tailored specifically to you. It requires that you live in Washington state. Wellness offerings (meditation classes, mindfulness practices, community gatherings) are not therapy. They're practice-based, open to a wider group, and don't require an individual clinical relationship. Many people do both; neither is a substitute for the other.
-
Yes. Licensure laws mean individual therapy is limited to Washington state residents, but meditation classes, mindfulness practices, and community gatherings are open to anyone, anywhere — no location restrictions.
-
That's completely okay — you don't need to know before reaching out. If you're carrying something that feels rooted in trauma, chronic patterns, or a specific personal history, therapy is likely the deeper fit. If you're looking to build a regular practice, find community, or explore mindfulness without a clinical process, start with wellness. Feel free to ask when you get in touch — I'm happy to help you figure out where to begin.
A counselor who knows
the body holds the story
Hi, I’m Becky Altman, LMHCA.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington state with a Master’s in Counseling from Saybrook University. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over six years guiding clients through mindfulness, meditation, and somatic practices — experiences that continue to deeply inform my clinical work today.
I’m also a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, meditation teacher, and Brainspotting practitioner. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a little humor into my work, creating a space where clients can reconnect with themselves in a grounded, compassionate way.
Tell your story.
Everyone is unique. There may be common treads to allows us to build an empathetic community, but you deserve to share your specific experience in a safe and open space.
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. You need a willingness to slow down long enough to hear what your body has been trying to say.
